Police have charged a man following an incident that occurred in the early hours of this morning at Airlie Beach.
It will be alleged that a man has stabbed a security worker outside a nightclub on Shute Harbour Road around 2am.
The 27-year-old security worker was treated for his injuries which are considered to be non-life threatening.
The 30-year-old French national man is due to appear in the Proserpine Magistrates Court today.
